Homeopathic Medicines for Treating Burning Urination

1️⃣ Cantharis Vesicatoria:

🔹 Intense burning in the urethra before, during, and after passing urine,  Constant desire to urinate; Intolerable urging and tenesmus; pain in the urinary bladder.

🔹 Better from cold applications and open air

🔹 Severe burning at the end of urination.
🔹 Urine passes in thin stream or dribbles, difficulty urinating while standing

🔹  Pain from right kidney downward. Urine dribbles while sitting. Bladder distended and tender. Tenesmus of bladder; urine passes in thin, feeble stream. Pain at meatus.

Severe, almost unbearable pain at conclusion of urination (Berb., Equis., Med., Thuja).

Burning and soreness in region of kidneys.

Stitching, cutting pain from left kidney following course of ureter into bladder and urethra (Tab., – r. kidney, Lyc.).

Ascites with anasarca, in organic lesions of kidneys; dropsy after scarlatina (Apis, Hell., Lach.).

Violent burning and drawing pains in kidney, bladder and urethra (Berb., Can., Canth.).

Violent burning and cutting in bladder; tenesmus; sensitive hypogastrium; cystitis and retention from atony of fundus.

Albuminuria; acute, in early stages, when blood and albumin abound more than casts and epithelium; after diphtheria, scarlatina, typhoid.

Strangury; spasmodic retention of urine.

9. Nitric Acid:

🔹 Burning, Stinging pain while urination, the urine is highly offensive. The stream of urine is thin.

scanty, dark-brown, strong-smelling, “like horse’s urine;” cold when it passes; turbid, looks like remains of a cider barrel.

10. Cannabis Sativa:

🔹 Burning, stitching pain Urination when, Urine is Passed Drop by Drop.

🔹 It is well indicated for burning urination in gonorrhea. In such cases, along with burning urination, there is a yellow and watery mucus discharge from the urethra.

Urethra very sensitive to touch or pressure; cannot walk with legs close together, it hurts the urethra.

Pain extending from orifice of urethra backward, burning-biting, posteriorly more sticking, while urinating.

Quantity of urine voided is larger than the amount of water drunk; frequent urging to urinate.
